Our Mission
StrongHER in Faith is dedicated to building a Christ-centered community that empowers women ages 20–35 to grow spiritually, develop meaningful relationships, and walk confidently in their purpose. Through biblical teaching, mentorship, intentional gatherings, and loving accountability, we seek to strengthen women spiritually while equipping them to positively impact their families, friendships, and communities.

Our Founder
Malaya Gooch
Malaya is the Founder and Visionary of StrongHER in Faith, a faith-based nonprofit organization devoted to fostering spiritual growth, authentic sisterhood, and transformative community experiences. The organization was born from a deep desire to see women grow in faith while building meaningful relationships. After living out of state and experiencing the longing for genuine, faith-filled community, she felt called to create a space where women — especially those who relocated to the Dallas area — could feel seen, supported, and spiritually strengthened.
With an MBA in Strategic Management, she leads with both heart and structure, ensuring intentional planning, sustainable growth, and responsible stewardship. Malaya's vision extends beyond events into long-term impact. Through mentorship, workshops, conferences, and retreats, women will be equipped to thrive at home, in their careers, and in their communities — while intentionally pouring into the next generation.
Passionate about speaking and teaching, she finds joy in sharing biblical wisdom and practical life tools, particularly in the areas of marriage, personal growth, and living with faith and intention. Outside of ministry, Malaya enjoys long walks, reading, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops. Above all, her prayer is that everyone who encounters this ministry becomes stronger in faith and richer in community.
